Without a doubt, some brilliant designs have surfaced in the last decade by innovative designers who wish to improve on the classic guitar sounds. These cutting edge designs have had huge followings and are sure to reach the same legendary status as the vintage types. This is where our Special Stock Series comes in. The Special Stock Series features the same high quality construction as our Traditional Series, yet offers more flexibility for the player who wishes to determine the output of their pickups, namely, a hotter pickup - 6.0k-8.0k. Can be calibrated in a set.
Strat Guitar Pickups Special Stock Series Strat® Style Pickups feature tempered Alnico 5 staggered magnets, 42 gauge Formvar wire, scatter wound on lacquered fiberboard bobbins. Potted in Paraffin and Beeswax. Choose 42 gauge Formvar coil wire for classic, warm late 50's, early 60's tone. 42 gauge Plain Enamel coil wire for clearer, brighter mid-late 60's tone.Output: 6K neck and middle, 6K or 6.8K bridge. RWRP option.

Tele Bridge Guitar Pickups Special Stock Series Tele® Bridge Pickups come with either flat Alnico II or III Magnet poles, Alnico V raised D and G (beveled), or Alnico V Flat Pole Magnets with black or white rope windings. They are wound with 42 gauge Plain Enamel wire, scatterwound on fiberboard bobbins with a vintage correct copper plated steel baseplate. Potted in a Paraffin and Beeswax mixture. 42 gauge Plain Enamel coil wire. Output: 7K or 7.4K.

They are wound with 43 Gauge Plain Enamel wire, scatterwound on lacquered fiberboard bobbins. Potted in a Parraffin and Beeswax mixture. 43 gauge Plain Enamel coil wire. Output: 7K or 7.4K. RWRP option.
